Travel to Learn™ helps children become part of the destination. It becomes their discovery—and an experience the whole family shares.
I learned how powerful that could be when my son Noah was little.
We lived in Southern California and had Disney passes, so we visited often. When I suggested going to Disneyland for his birthday, he wasn't particularly excited.
Disney had become familiar.
But when we arrived, Noah received a birthday button with his name on it.
Throughout the day, cast members greeted him:
"Happy birthday, Noah!"
At the end of the day, he looked at me and said:
"That was the best day ever."
I reminded him that we had been to Disney many times before.
His answer was simple:
"But everybody knew my name."
Disney hadn't changed. What changed was his connection to it.
He wasn't simply visiting a destination. He felt like he was part of it — and that transformed the experience for both of us.
Noah didn't need a new destination. He needed to feel like he belonged to it. That's what Travel to Learn™ gives every child.
That is what Travel to Learn™ is designed to create.
Before an adventure, children begin wondering:
- What will I see, hear, feel, touch and experience for the first time?
- What do I already know or think I know?
- What do I want to discover?
- What career lens sounds most interesting to me?
At the destination, they become explorers — observing closely, asking questions, completing missions and finding answers for themselves.
Afterward, families reflect together:
- What surprised us?
- What did we discover?
- How did this experience change what we understand about the world, others and ourselves?
- What do we want to explore next?
Through songs, stories, activities, Explorer Missions and family conversations, Travel to Learn™ connects the experience before, during and after the adventure.
Because the most meaningful family adventures aren't only about where you go.
They're about helping a child feel:
"I'm part of this world. This discovery belongs to me, too."
